I got this for my 5-year old daughter as a doll-version of her dad, who does not live with us (I adapted it to look more like him). She loves it, has had it in her bed every night, carries it around with her etc. It is sturdy and soft. The top and shorts are easy to take off, not so easy to put back on (so usually he is down to his underwear). Very successful toy.
