This is a nice Doll to gaze at. I understand that you can buy clothes for her, made just for her. When I saw a few variations of these new Fashion Dolls, I remember having a mixed reaction: The first thing was, how detached from the Barbie family they seemed. The second thing was, they are like statues as far as body wise. They are forever frozen in these vogue poses. If a teen girl wants to play with this Barbie doll, she will find herself limited. This doll is beautiful,and after many attempts in the past, looks more naturally African American than the Barbies of several years ago. These collectables are just perfect to stand on display in their Black Designer dresses. I understand all her outfits are Black. Not at all for a girl under 13. All 12 dolls are "perfect"looking. In a era of thin-is-in I would have liked to see some size variation as well. I have ten more Dolls to collect.
