I bought this doll for my 3 year old daughter. My first Barbie was a Ballerina Barbie, too! I was slightly dismayed to find that the outfit (with the exception of the skirt) is molded on. However, for a 3 year old, who's hands aren't quite adept enough to clothe regular Barbies, this is a GREAT aspect for a toy. Of the five Barbies she has gotten since, only Ballerina remains clothed and is played with far more frequently than those who need an older sibling or mom to get them dressed!
