This is a total disappointment, not because of the toy itself but because of the seller. My daughter saved so hard to get this toy thinking she's getting THREE sets of Polly Pockets as shown in the picture. When the package arrived we were shocked that there's only ONE set inside. At first we thought this is first part of the whole order, but soon we were frustrated when we saw the shipping slip says "This completes the order".

I Bought this in November and stored for my daughter for Christmas and just now put batteries in the items( 3 months later), the fish tank went around for a second and stopped you have to tap it and sometimes it will work for a few seconds and sometimes it will not even when you get it to work it is for just a few seconds. We put a battery in the tv in another set and it worked for a couple of minutes and now it will not work the light is already burnt out it shows very faintly when you turn the knob, I am past the warranty on these I am sure as I have waited to put batteries in them and I am dissapointed as that is two different sets that are not working and each set was [...]...............She obviously played with them fine before the batteries as pieces of furniture but we are dissapointed with the quality of the items for the price. Strawberry Shortcake Picnic In The Petals Get it now!

We got this for our daughter for Christmas because she wanted Strawberry Shortcake and her friend in the same set. It is very cute and she loves the dolls since they are scented and simply sweet to look at, but I have a couple of issues with it. The point of this set is the strawberry lemonade and the pieces are so teeny tiny that she can't grab them real well to place them on the table without knocking over the table set. The hat for Strawberry Shortcake doesn't stay on her head and even if you shove it on, it pops off. The only way it sits on her head is if you pull it all the way down to her nose which looks ridiculous since her eyes are peeping over the visor. I thought maybe it would fit the other doll, but it doesn't. Also, the only way the dolls can sit on the chairs is if you sit them on it perfectly because the dolls are a bit too heavy for the chairs. The chairs need a bit more weight to hold the dolls correctly. It is a cute pretend set and my daughter does like it, but it could have been better. We have a Snow White Cottage PlaySet Dollhouse,

precisely our daughter has it and she loves to stuff it with
as many Snow White dolls as possible.. we have many.. long story :)

So without even trying I became somewhat an expert on Snow White-ology.. comes to dolls at least.

This doll seem really your basic doll. It is very well made. It is not the highest flight quality but it is quite
sturdy and of certain beauty. The faces of Mattel Dolls are somhow bit simplified comparing to Disney store
Princesses but that is not major issue, they still hold huge amount of resamblance to the Disney Snow White Movie
so you are good here.

I think that this is perfect take along toy as they take lots of beating on te road so it is good to have simple
not too expensive back up for that purpose as you can save the better ones from the wear and tear of taking along.

I higly recommend it.

oh size.. right.. in case you wonder. .this is a Barbie size doll. I would say some 11 inches high or so.
as it is hard to judge from the pictures and they sometime forget to specify and one has to wonder..

Purchase Strawberry Shortcake Playset - Berry Cafe

I ordered this as a present for my niece's 3rd birthday this year. She loves the berry sweet smelling characters and is very "girly" in general. She loved it! A success among a horde of the exciting packages she opened. If your child likes Strawberry Shortcake, this is a pretty sure hit.

As you can read in other reviews, this toy is a nice package and feels well made, but it comes with a large number of very tiny parts, including miniscule toy food. If your child has any tendency to put something in the mouth, or if you have babies in the household, I really would not advise this purchase for you. Also, I would definitely have a container or plastic baggie to put the tiny food in when play is finished. There is no carrying case and this isn't the easiest travel toy. However, it is quite cleverly designed, and will certainly spark your child's imagination as they run the berry cafe with little Shortcake at the helm. Hours of fun in one set. I certainly wouldn't mind playing with it and my niece for an afternoon or two.

Surprisingly, my nephew who is 5 and only plays with cars and trains, thought this was a pretty cool toy as well. He was sheepishly enjoying playing with the set and my niece on her birthday (he pretended to be helping her unpack it). Household harmony. The bird at the top that Shortcake rides on is fun to play with for a more action oriented child (e.g., if you have a boy and girl playing together). They love watching her fly around (and fall off).
